Our Tiger Explorer turnbuckle style lowering links will adjust the rear of the bike infinitely between a 1" and 4 inch" drop. No need to remove the link from the bike...just loosen the nuts and rotate the center hex body. You do not have to remove bolts and find a way to hold the bike up while you are doing it! The body is gold zinc plated steel or stainless steel, NOT aluminum. The ends have a 1/2" thread and are zinc plated steel for strength and corrosion resistance. There are also 4 inserts that make up the difference in the diameter and length of the stock bearing setup. THIS IS A DIRECT BOLT-ON ITEM! The ball bearing is hardened steel with a Teflon race. Aluminum threads DO NOT last and are dangerous!
