The Scrambler 1200 XE has been fine-tuned to deliver thrilling ‘any road’ all-day comfort with genuine adventure and scrambling capability. This incredible level of dual-purpose dynamic riding capability is achieved with a high spec combination of motorcycle engineering that includes longer wheel travel Öhlins rear suspension unit, longer travel Showa upside-down forks, Brembo brakes, and side-laced wheels with adventure-focused tubeless Metzeler Tourance tires.

The top-of-the-range XE is leading the next step in scrambling with phenomenal road-going ability together with even more advanced off-road specification. The torque-rich 1200cc Bonneville engine, a sculpted twin high level exhaust with an exquisite signature scrambler soundtrack, and Optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control supported by an Inertial Measurement Unit all combine for the best possible riding experience. In addition, even more class-leading state-of-the-art technology is built in, including 6 riding modes, to give a confidence-inspiring ride whatever adventures you approach.
PREMIUM XE TECHNOLOGY
The world’s first motorcycle integrated GoPro control system (facilitated through a Bluetooth connectivity module available as an accessory) enables camera operation while you’re riding. Another first comes courtesy of intuitive ‘turn-by-turn’ navigation which is displayed on the TFT instruments. This new navigation system is supported by Google and delivered through a new Triumph app. Phone and music operation is also supported, allowing the rider to control their music and phone operation via the illuminated switchcube control.
‘FOR THE RIDE’ TECHNOLOGY
The XE’s optimized cornering ABS and traction control systems are central to this superior riding experience. These are supported by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that continuously takes measurements and calculates lean angle, automatically adjusting ride settings to optimize ride quality and stability even in extreme conditions.
Completing the XE’s phenomenal specification is an incredible range of all-purpose technology, including Triumph’s new second generation full-color TFT instrument display. This has a feature that allows the rider to personalize the start-up screen with their name, and is controlled by the illuminated switchcubes to give you all the ride information you want, when you need it, in pin-sharp detail. There are six riding modes on the XE – Road, Off-Road, Rain, Sport, Rider-Configurable, and Triumph’s adventure bike spec Off-Road Pro mode – each of which adjusts throttle response, ABS, and traction control settings to suit your surroundings. And Triumph’s keyless ignition system, heated grips, cruise control and USB charging socket are of course included as standard.
