Freight Policy
Shipping Charges and Delivery Information (within Australia)
The freight charge for all orders from our main website placed within Australia is $16.50 per order including GST for delivery Australia wide with no minimum or maximum order amount limited up to the maximum acceptable dimensions and weight accepted by Australia Post and are not classified as dangerous or prohibited items by Australia Post (fluids, batteries etc). Any items ordered that are not accepted for sending by Australia Post must be collected from in store either by the customer or a third party freight provider organized by the customer. BULKY ITEM FREIGHT
Some products listed will show the description of 'Bulky item, additional freight may be required'. Larger items such as exhaust systems, panniers, top boxes, motorcycle stands and other large accessories may be to bulky for us to freight for our $16.50 flat rate. These items are available for in store pick up with no extra charges or can be sent with extra charges. If these extra freight charges are required then we will email you an invoice for the additional freight, this will be determined by the size of the item and the location for delivery. If you wish to organize your own freight you may select 'In store pick up' at check out and leave the details of the freight provided in the order notes.
JCS Motorcycles uses various freight providers depending on your location but most orders are sent via Australia Post. We send most orders via Registered Post but can send Express post upon request, please contact us if you would like to know shipping times and postage upgrade costs or visit Australia Post at www.auspost.com.au for up to date express post pricing and delivery ETAs.
We dispatch web orders Monday through to Friday (except for public holidays) and we will make every effort to dispatch your order within 3 business days from the date of order if all the products are in stock. Typical shipping times are estimated between 1 - 2 weeks depending on your location in Australia. Whilst many of products displayed on our website are in stock, in some cases we may need to order the product in. As we deal with a large amount of suppliers the delivery time to receive products varies on the supplier and availability of the product at the time of order. In the case of not being able to supply the product within 7 days from the date of order, a time frame will be emailed to the customer and the option to cancel an order is always possible if an acceptable delivery time is not possible.
OEM Triumph Spares Online
Delivery cost for orders placed through the OEM Spares Online website are not calculated at checkout, small items will ship with an approximate charge of $16.50 per order, larger ordered and bulky items will be charged at the cost price of delivery which we will notify you of. These orders are normally shipped as complete orders once we have received all requested from our suppliers but we can also split shipments if that is your preferred method. Please contact us it you have specific shipping requirements.
Christmas and New Years Eve closures
Every year JCS Motorcycles closes between Christmas Eve and the first Monday of the new year. Orders are able to placed during these times but will not be processed or sent until we re-open.
International Orders (outside of Australia)
Our online store is for Australian customers only, due to the large number of fraudulent and scam orders we are no longer shipping to international customers or freight forwarding companies. Due to vendor agreements and logistical issues with international freight we are unable to make exceptions to this rule.
Lost Order?
If you have placed an order on our website you should have received updates on the order status including tracking numbers and freight providers via the email or SMS that was provided to us. Please contact the freight providers directly with your consignment number for assistance with tracking your order. Orders sent via Australia Post can be tracked at https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search .
Returns Policy
If you need to return goods to us because you've changed your mind or the size isn't quite right, you may decide to return the goods at your own freight or postage costs both to us and for the postage to re-send it back to you. If we have sent you the incorrect goods we will cover the cost of freight return and re-sending the correct goods to you. If the item is faulty we will refer the product to the supplier or manufacturer as per their warranty policy.
We can not accept returns on the following items
- Any motorcycle helmets
- Any special order ex-manufacturer parts & accessories
- Electrical products
